Have a look at the cabins at Loch Awe; they used to be Forestry Comiision owned but not sure who runs them now. Lovely part of the country and near to Oban for the ferry to the islands.

What about a Homeless charity or night shelter? They seem to like donations of cakes and goodies. I had a good clear out of stuff, smellies, sleeping bags, biscuits and anything else that I thought would be useful.

Chocolate digestives (helped move things along afterwards!).

Book. Torch (for reading book). Tissues. Mints. Food. Lighterweight blanket. Fluffy non-slip socks.

It’s a complex topic. Parking is often limited, so needs to be rationed. Fees are one way of doing this. That said our local NHS Trust are quite enlightened; if you need to visit regularly they will sell you a cheap weekly permit.

We’ve all had little accidents in early years. Maybe she’s still really stressed as a result of her past life. Or maybe she has a medical problem? Just asking. Spray the carpet, most carpet cleaning products will do the job, or white vinegar, make a fuss of her, reassure her, show her the litter tray again, think about whether it’s in a suitable place for her. And carry on loving her. You’re obviously a very nice person. Happy Christmas and New Year to you.

@sammy I would vote for cutting the heads off the inner demons, sucking out the brains, etc. But they are so hard to actually catch….

And I’m intrigued by your concept that certain things can’t be said. My understanding is that we are all allowed to speak from our own experience as long as we don’t sharpen the knives and begin striking out…. 🙂
